Mickey Harte admits to being disappointed that some players chose to quit the Tyrone panel in the wake of their Ulster SFC loss to Donegal.

As many as six squad members are believed to have walked away but the Red Hands have regrouped and will approach the Qualifiers with confidence, beginning with a home match against Limerick in Omagh on Sunday.

"While I think it is disappointing that players put in a good effort and then walk away, at the end of the day every player has to make up his own mind as to what they want to do," the three-times All-Ireland SFC winning manager notes in The Belfast Telegraph.

"We have brought in some young blood and that has energised the whole group. There are All-Ireland winning players in there and I think we can go forward with confidence."
