Rory Gallagher has named his Donegal starting team to face Armagh in the Ulster SFC quarter-final on Sunday.

In the only change from the side that beat Tyrone by 1-13 to 1-10 in the preliminary round last month, Anthony Thompson is drafted into the defence as an indirect replacement for attacker Martin O'Reilly.

The Naomh Conaill clubman, who missed most of the league campaign due to work commitments in the UK, is selected in the half-back line beside Karl Lacey with Frank McGlynn on the opposite wing

Martin McElhinney, who has recovered from a virus in time for the Athletic Grounds clash, is the only newcomer to the starting fifteen that overcame Armagh in the All-Ireland quarter-final last August.
