Marty Morrissey was the star of the show at the ladies football National League awards in Croke Park last night.

The popular broadcaster hosted the awards ceremony and received a great reception in what was his first public appearance since his RTE colleague Joe Brolly made derogatory remarks about him on live TV last Sunday.

Brolly has since issued an apology.
