John Evans isn't taking any chances ahead of Sunday's trip to Ruislip.

The Killorglin man has named a strong starting 15 with Mark Healy due to make his first championship start at midfield alongside Cathal Shine.

Elsewhere, Seanie McDermott, Enda Smith, Donie Shine and Diarmuid Murtagh have all been restored to the team while David Murray, Conor Daly, Kevin Higgins, Donie Smith, Ronan Stack and Cian Connolly make way from the team that secured Division 2 league honours at Down's expense.

"London went on a fierce gallop two years ago so anyone who thinks they aren't going to be ready for a real battle against us doesn't know Paul Coggins," Evans remarked.

"He's a proud Roscommon man, but this is one time he'd love to see them beaten."

"It's easy sometimes to get sucked into the gala atmosphere generated in Ruislip for the first round of the championship and before you know it, you're in trouble. We're going over to do a job but must make sure we do it as well as possible. If we don't, we'll be caught."

Exiles manager Coggins has handed debuts to four players - Scott Conroy, James Moran, Alan O'Hara and Adrian Moyles.

"We are really looking forward to it - this match is always a big occasion for everybody involved especially the Exiles in London," Coggins said.

"As a management team and panel our focus is very much on the game we have.  We played two challenge matches recently, everything has been good.  The lads have been putting in a serious amount of work over the past number of months.

"There should be a great atmosphere at Ruislip."
