Cork's crushing defeat to Dublin in last month's Allianz Football League final has left them a "beaten docket" for the championship, according to Ciaran Whelan.
The former Dublin midfielder cannot see anyway back for Brian Cuthbert's charges from their 2-7 to 1-21 trouncing at Croke Park.
"It's likely to be Cork and Kerry in Killarney (in the Munster final) and Cork look a beaten docket, mentally," Whelan said on RTE.
"Kerry tend to win that battle in Killarney and they will come through. The downside is that whoever loses is still in the last 12.
"My top four teams (for the All-Ireland) - Kerry and Dublin are the top two. If Mayo improve or have a level of consistency, they will be there or thereabouts. There is a position there for the fourth spot. Cork are a beaten docket mentally, so perhaps a team from Ulster like Donegal, Armagh."
