Hawkeye is unlikely to be available in Semple Stadium for Sunday week's Munster SHC clash between Limerick and Clare.

The Irish Daily Star reports that preparations for the installation of the electronic score detection system at the Thurles venue are at an advanced stage but stadium director David Morgan said: "I would caution that it won't go live until we are 150 per cent satisfied that all the testing programmes and everything is right.

"I'm not going to say it's going to be ready for a specific date.

"It will be switched on live when we are ready to do it, and not before.

"I wouldn't perceived it will be ready for the 24th."
