Fears that Sean Cavanagh could miss Tyrone's Ulster SFC opener against Donegal have been allayed after he played a club game yesterday.
Concerns about the captain's availablity were raised after he recently underwent knee surgery. But he scored five points for Moy in a 1-12 to 2-8 Division 1 league victory over Dungannon, meaning he is almost certain to be available for the Ulster SFC preliminary round clash in Ballybofey on Sunday week.
The news provides Tyrone with a further boost after Saturday's All-Ireland U21FC final victory over Tipperary.
