Kieran McGeeney feels his Armagh team is good enough to "compete" for the Anglo-Celt Cup.

Two years ago, Monaghan won Ulster from Division 3 and McGeeney believes it's not beyond the bounds of possibility for Armagh to achieve the same.

"I believe we are capable of competing for one (an Ulster title)," the Orchard County boss said after last Saturday's Allianz League Division 3 final win over Fermanagh.

"There are so many permutations outside your control, but we definitely have the players to compete.

"You have to be honest about the side of draw we are on, we play the winners of Donegal and Tyrone and Donegal is definitely one of the top four teams in the country and Tyrone are in the top-eight and can beat anybody on their day. So we wait to play the winners of that."
