Tipperary have received a timely boost ahead of the Muster SHC with the return of Lar Corbett and Michael Cahill to action.

Corbett put his recent knee problem behind him to play the last 20 minutes of Thurles Sarsfields' 1-24 to 0-21 county SHC victory over Upperchurch-Drombane in Holycross at the weekend. Defender Cahill, who missed the entire Allianz League campaign after undergoing groin surgery, started for the Dan Breen Cup holders.

Meanwhile, John McGrath is on course to return to the Tipperary U21 football team in Saturday's All-Ireland final against Tyrone at Parnell Park after scoring four points for Loughmore-Castleiney in their 0-16 to 0-18 county SHC loss to Eire Og Anacarty in Cashel on Saturday.
