A hand injury has scuppered Fermanagh captain Eoin Donnelly's chances of lining out in this Saturday's FL Division 3 final against Armagh.

Speaking to The Belfast Telegraph, manager Pete McGrath confirmed that he will have to plan without the services of his influential midfielder.

"It's unfortunate, but we are all in football long enough to know that these things can raise their heads at the most unpleasant time," McGrath commented.

"It's very hard on Eoin as he is a great captain and a great guy and Fermanagh don't get to play too many finals in Croke Park."
