Tipperary's Colin O'Riordan is due to undergo a medical assessment this afternoon to determine if he can play a part in tonight's Munster U-21 FC final.

The team management have confirmed to TippFM Sport that they haven't ruled out the prospect of the All Star nominee featuring against the Rebels, although the team they named this morning does not include the captain.

The JK Brackens clubman required hospital treatment for a head injury sustained in the recent FL Division 3 clash against Sligo and has been named on the bench for tonight's Semple Stadium encounter.
