Patrick Kelly will miss Cork's bid for national football league silverware due to a torn calf.
The Rebels are due to lock horns with Donegal in the curtain-raiser of Sunday's Division One semi-final double-header at Croke Park but Kelly in a non-runner after being ruled out of action for a month.
The 29-year-old Ballincollig clubman was handed his first start of the campaign against Derry in Owenbeg on Sunday but sustained the injury inside the opening half-hour.
The injury represents the latest in a series of setbacks for the attacker who has been plagued by hip trouble in recent years.
Tom Clancy is also a doubt this weekend due to a hamstring strain but Brian Cuthbert will otherwise select from the full complement.
