Cross and Passion College made up for the disappointment of finishing as runners-up 12 months ago when getting the better of Mountrath CS in the All-Ireland Post Primary Schools SH 'B' final in Semple Stadium today.
Shan McGrath's 55th minute goal was a decisive moment in the game and the right corner-forward finished with 1-3 to his name.
Dylan Conroy top scored for the Laois students, who trailed by 0-8 to 0-9 at the halfway stage, with 1-4.
His last minute goal turned out to be nothing more than a consolation for his side as the Ballycastle school scored a merited victory.
