Tipperary are considering taking their appeal against Seamus Callanan's sending-off versus Offaly to the GAA's Central Appeals Committee.

Secretary Tim Floyd indicated to The Irish Daily Star that the Premier County will challenge the Hearings Committee's ruling that there was 'not sufficiently compelling evident to rebut the referee's report'.

He also suggested that they might go all the way to the Disputes Resolution Authority in an effort to have the star forward eligible to play against Waterford in their league semi-final on April 19th.

"We were fairly confident coming out that it would be overturned but for whatever reason, they decided that we didn't prove that the referee got it entirely wrong.

"We showed on the video that he (Callanan) didn't strike him (Offaly full-back Dermot Shortt) but we didn't show that the referee got it wrong.

"The CAC is the next route of appeal, with DRA after that. We'll see if it's worth a run at Central Appeals."
