Fermanagh's Ryan McCluskey

Ryan McCluskey is delighted that Fermanagh have "promotion in the bag" after missing out narrowly in the past.

The Ernemen sealed progression to Division Two with a game to spare when beating Wexford last weekend and McCluskey is relieved that their mission has been accomplished:

"It's something that we set out to get at the start of the year and we're delighted," he told The Fermanagh Herald. "It's been a tough league campaign and we knew after last year that we had a lot to improve on and a lot of work to do, but we're delighted.

"We're looking forward to next week's game. It's a big game still against Clare. We want to try to remain unbeaten in the league. We're looking forward to the final as well.

"Credit to the whole team and the squad and the backroom team because it's been them pushing everybody on the whole year. That's what has got us promoted in the end. It's something we need to continue on and we need to concentrate on Clare. We're looking to win that game and then go into the Armagh game on a positive note.

"It's great to be part of a league final again. It's something we missed out on a number of season ago, (losing) to Meath in Meath, so it's nice we're sitting with one game left with promotion in the bag and we can look forward to the final."
