Team news: Hogan to sit out Clare game

Kilkenny manager Brian Cody has made four changes to the team that lost out to Tipperary for Sunday's visit of Clare to Nowlan Park.

The All-Ireland champions are faced with a relegation play-off next weekend regardless of the result and Cody has selected an understrength side once again.

There are starting places for Tomas Keogh, Willie Phelan, Joe Lyng and Kevin Kelly, while Cillian Buckley, Lester Ryan, Richie Hogan and Ger Aylward drop out.
