Brian McIver was scathing in his criticism of referee Ciaran Branagan following Derry's latest defeat in Division 1.
The Oak Leaf manager, who also blasted the performance of David Coldrick following his side's draw with Tyrone eight days earlier, fumed after the 1-13 to 2-12 loss to Mayo: "Disgusted. I'm disgusted. Not taking anything away from Mayo, but they got a jammy goal and every decision going."
McIver took particular issue with substitute James Kielt's black card in the closing stages.
"The James Kielt one at the end, we get men around and they get a free and we get a black card. They do the same with us and it's a free out for over-carrying. How do you work that one out? Time and time again, all day."
With just one point from four games, McIver admitted that Derry face an uphill battle to retain their top-flight status.
"All we can do is keep performing and hope that as the year progresses, we get the breaks. At the minute, we certainly ain't getting any. We don't want to be going down, put it like that," he added.
