Westmeath's Aonghus Clarke strikes as Antrim's Barry McFall closes in during the Leinster SHC at Cusack Park

Aonghus Clarke will captain Westmeath for the first time in tomorrow's vital Allianz Hurling League Division 2A meeting with Kerry in Tralee.

The newly-appointed skipper will make his first start of the year in a game the Lake County must win if they are to keep their promotion hopes alive. Adam Price and Derek McNicholas also return after missing the surprise defeat to Derry last time out.

The players to lose out are Alan McGrath, Joey Boyle and Niall Dowdall, while there is no place for Niall O'Brien, who missed the last-gasp Owenbeg loss through illness.

Westmeath (SH v Kerry): Peter Collins; Shane Power, Aaron Craig, Adam Price; Gary Greville, Tommy Doyle, Liam Varley; Eoin Price, Joe Clarke; Aonghus Clarke, Brendan Murtagh, Robbie Greville; Alan Devine, Derek McNicholas, Darragh Clinton.
