O'Sullivan: Dubs need to 'tidy up' at the back

Four-time Kerry All-Ireland winner Sean O'Sullivan says Dublin will be hard to beat in 2015 as long as they have learnt from their past mistakes.

Dublin's attacking philosophy proved to be their undoing against Donegal in last year's All-Ireland semi-final and, speaking to The Irish Daily ahead of the Dubs' league visit to the Kingdom, O'Sullivan remarked: "It would be very dismissive to say Jim Gavin doesn't learn.

"He needs to tidy up his defence definitely but whether or not he has the personnel is another story.

"It's fine to say they're gone streetwise but then you see the goal Jack McCaffrey got against Donegal which was super, but again it was complete abandonment.

"I coach at development level for the county and it's practiced in Kerry that you would encourage the half-backs to go forward but it's as simple as this: 1) When the time is right, and 2) Don't all go together.

"That's what caught Dublin against Donegal. Dublin have learned and if they tidy that up, I see them hard to beat this year."
