Kerry legend Maurice Fitzgerald turned out for his beloved St. Mary's, Caherciveen in the South Kerry League yesterday.
Looking like he had just stepped out of a time machine from 1997 when he inspired the Kingdom to All-Ireland glory, the 46-year-old started at wing forward as St. Mary's overcame local rivals Waterville by 0-9 to 0-7.
Needless to say, Maurice's surprise appearance was the talk of the club's dinner dance in the local Ring of Kerry Hotel last night!
