The Offaly GAA board has agreed to vote against the deal which would allow SKY TV exclusive rights to screen some hurling and football matches.

Last year, saw SKY sign a deal with Croke Park where they would show some games in the All-Ireland SFC and SHC, but this move was with opposition from many parties.

However, the Midalnds Tribune reports that at the monthly meeting of the Offaly County Board, a proposal put forward by delegate Paddy Rowland to back Clare's motion at annual congress urging Croke Park not to allow SKY have exclusive rights to any games.
