Peter Creedon has been summoned to Croke Park to explain his criticism of David Coldrick.

The Tipperary manager was critical of the Meath match official following he Premier County's unlucky one-point Division Three defeat to Armagh at the Athletic Grounds on February 1st and subsequently expressed the view that "there should be some avenue open for people to maybe question the referees in terms of their performance."

The Cork native is facing a sideline ban for his comments and will attend a meeting at HQ tonight to give his side of the story.

County Board secretary Tim Floyd confirmed to The Irish Examiner that tonight's meeting is not a hearing as such but that Creedon would meet the Central Competitions Control Committee (CCCC) as part of their investigations.

Tipperary's next league match is against Fermanagh in Enniskillen on Sunday, March 1st.
