TJ Ryan insists Limerick's promotion hopes remain very much alive, despite Saturday's night draw with Waterford.
Acknowledging that there is little margin for error in Division 1B of the Allianz League, the Treaty County manager said: "I think there are one of two more twists and turns in this league - they are all very competitive games.
"But we're still in control of our own destiny. I'd like to have won it, but at least we didn't lose it."
Ryan was pleased with how Limerick's four debutants performed.
"These guys have come in and done well," he continued.
"We were unfortunate with Declan Hannon getting injured with Mary Immaculate during the week and David Breen getting injured in training Thursday night.
"In fairness to the guys they were all thrown together in the end but look I thought the guys battled really well and there was a bit of aggression there which is good to see.
"We only played in fits-and-starts but certainly the second half performance was encouraging and around the pitch we won a lot of the battles and that was good but the disappointing thing for us is that we went ahead and didn't win it."
