The Boss to play two Croker gigs?

'The Boss' Bruce Springsteen

Bruce Springsteen is set to rock Croke Park not once, but twice this summer.

Speculation as to who will grace the Croke Park stage has been rife ever since GAA director general Paraic Duffy confirmed earlier this week that another concert would be held in the stadium this summer.

An official announcement is not expected until this Friday but The Herald is reporting that the 'Born in the USA' singer will play two shows at GAA headquarters.

The newspaper is saying that one gig will be announced on Friday with a second being announced on Saturday.

Springsteen's two concerts will follow the planned gig by The Script on June 20 and that will bring the total amount of non-sporting events in the stadium to three for 2015 - the permitted number of shows for Croke Park under a 2009 agreement.
