Team news: ex-Dub Burke makes Banner debut

Kilmacud Crokes Pat Burke.

Former Dublin footballer Pat Burke will make his first competitive start for Clare in their Allianz League opener against Wexford tomorrow.

The experienced Kilmacud Crokes forward qualifies to play for the Banner under the GAA's parentage rule. His father, Pat Burke Snr, is a former Kilmurry-Ibrickane and Clare footballer.

Burke is named in the full forward line alongside Shane Brennan and David Tubridy. Former dual star Podge Collins misses the Division 3 tie in Miltown with a hamstring injury.
