Kilkenny legend Henry Shefflin is adamant that Cork will be a force to be reckoned with again in 2015.

The Rebels were defeated at the semi-final stage last year when Tipperary overwhelmed them after they had reached the final the previous year.

And Shefflin's whose own inter-county career is still up in the air, feels that Cork will have learned from the last two year and are set to be one of the teams to beat in this year's campaign.

"Cork will definitely be at the business end of it again this year," Shefflin told the Southern Star. "If you look back at it last year, it was only one game that they lost.

"Okay it was an All-Ireland semi-final but we all know that those things happen. They have had two very good seasons back to back, they have been in an All-Ireland final that they came very close to winning and they have been in an All-Ireland semi-final as well. They'll know they didn't perform against Tipperary and that will spur them on this year."
