Aidan McCrory wasn't overly bothered by Tyrone's wayward shooting in Sunday's McKenna Cup win over St Mary's.
The Red Hands hit 13 wides and went 23 minutes without a score at one stage but McCrory says it's early days as far as the 2015 season goes:
"In both halves we missed a lot of scores, but it's still early in the year," he says in The Irish News.
"If you were doing everything right at this time of the year it would defeat the purpose of having competitions like this. You could just go straight into the championship.
"Things are always going to be that way. You are going to have stuff to work on. Everything is not going to come right in January. We have a lot to work on."
