Tommy Walsh is set to make his return to the Kerry jersey next month.

The Examiner reports that the 26-year-old - who recently returned home after five years in Aussie Rules - will feature in the Kingdom's McGrath Cup fixture against IT Tralee on the second weekend of January.

In other good news for Kerry fans, long-serving Marc O Se has confirmed that he will be looking to add to his 80 championship appearances in 2015.

At the launch of the new Kerry jersey, the five-time All-Ireland winner tweeted: "I will have to give the new jersey a run-out in 2015 and see how it feels."

Asked if he hopes to overtake brother Tomas' 88 championship appearances record, he replied: "I won't be too worried about his record, but looking forward to a long year hopefully."
