Slaughtneil have asked for the date of their All-Ireland club football semi-final against Austin Stacks to be changed.

The Derry champions are due to meet with the Kerry kingpins on Saturday, February 14th next after the clubs won the Ulster and Munster club championships respectively last weekend

Defender Barry McGuigan's brother Pat is getting married on the 14th and the Central Competitions Control Committee has confirmed that it has received a request via Derry County Board to have the game played one day later, on Sunday February 15th.

The CCCC will make a decision at its next meeting, which may not take place until January.
