New Limerick U21 hurling manager John Kiely has named Jimmy Quilty and John Flavin as his selectors.

Quilty was involved with his native Blackrock when they claimed county, Munster and All-Ireland JHC honours in 2009/10, and coached Ballyhea to the Cork Premier IHC title this year.

Flavin, from Monagea, played senior hurling for Limerick in the mid-1990s when Tom Ryan was a the helm.

Kiely replaced Ciaran Carey as manager in controversial circumstances in September. Limerick will host Tipperary in the first round of the Munster U21HC next summer.
