Selector Michael Ryan is being lined up to succeed Eamon O'Shea as Tipperary hurling manager at the end of next season.

The former star defender will be recommended for the manager's job in 2016 at Wednesday night's county board meeting, meaning next year will be incumbent O'Shea's third and final year at the helm.

A recommendation that former All Star full back Declan Fanning be added to the Tipp management team in 2015 will also be put to delegates.
