McNabb calls on decorated duo to commit to Tyrone cause

Defender Ronan McNabb is adamant that experienced duo Conor Gormley and Stephen O'Neill still have plenty to offer the Red Hand County on the inter-county stage.

Both Gormley and O'Neill will turn 34 in the new year but McNabb is keen for them to commit to the Tyrone cause for 2015.

"I would love to see them stay on and give whatever they have to Tyrone over the next couple of years," McNabb said to The Irish News.

"When you look at Conor Gormley, and the way he plays his club football, to me he's the most consistent club player over the last 10 years, as long as I've been about anyway.

"And Stephen O'Neill, to me he's still one of the marquee forwards in Ulster, and if he gets a run of a couple of months injury-free, and gets his fitness back up, he can be as good as ever.

"They have served Tyrone with great distinction, and they're two brilliant players."
