Kilmallock will provide the opposition for reigning county and Munster club champions Na Piarsaigh in the Limerick SHC final after yesterday's semi-finals at the Gaelic Grounds.

County star Shane Dowling scored 2-6 as the holders cruised to a 4-20 to 0-8 win over Ahane. Adrian Breen also hit 2-3 for the city side who had led by 1-9 to 0-5 at the break.

The other semi-final between Kilmallock and Doon was far more entertaining, with the sides being level no less than 14 times before the green and whites registered the last three points to claim a 0-18 to 0-16 victory.

The winners led by 0-10 to 0-9 at half-time, but Cathal McNamara's free had Doon a point up going into stoppage-time. However, Eoin Ryan levelled from a penalty before Robbie Hanley and Eoin Ryan added late points to give Kilmallock the edge.
