Sarsfields will renew acquaintances with holders Moorefield in the Kildare SFC final after finishing with seven points to spare over Athy in the second of today's semi-finals at Newbridge, 2-12 to 0-11.

The Sash trailed by 0-5 to 0-6 at the halfway stage but two second-half goals in as many minutes from Sean Dempsey and Ben McCormack sent them on the road to victory.
