Waterford's footballers are on the lookout for a new manager following the resignation of Niall Carew.

Waterford County Board have revealed the news that the former Kildare selector will not be seeking a third year at the helm via its twitter account (@WaterfordGAA) this evening.

"Niall Carew has today informed Waterford County Board that he will not be seeking re-appointment as Manager for the 2015 season.

"We would like to place on record our thanks to Niall and his team for their work and commitment over the last 2 years." Tweet
