The last two All-Ireland senior football championship semi-final places were up for grabs this afternoon as Croke Park hosted a doubleheader.

GAA headquarters was the place to be this weekend as not only were there two SFC quarterfinals down for decision this afternoon, but the All-Ireland SHC semi-final takes place there tomorrow.

This evening's action threw in at 4pm as Ulster sides Donegal and Armagh renewed rivalries. The former entered this last eight clash as favourites and provincial champions, while the Orchard County had put together an impressive run in the qualifiers.

In the second game at 6pm, Monaghan were the latest side tasked with stopping the Dublin juggernaut from claiming their second consecutive title.
