See a report on the growth of Gaelic games in Canada's capital city. Jerome Quinn discovers a strong Irish history in Ottawa and looks to an exciting future with a ground-breaking move to bring Gaelic Football into 65 Elementary Schools in 2015.

"We are a thriving club and we couldn't be prouder to represent Gaelic games," says Ottawa Gaels Canadian-born Chair Vanessa McLean. "We have surpassed our own expectations with 33 new youth at the CYC, the highest number of family volunteers we've ever seen and we're going into our 40th anniversary next year."

Jerome also talks to Ireland Ambassador to Ottawa Ray Bassett (from Dublin), Ottawa Gaels Youth Coordinator Noel McGinnity, (from Monaghan), Founder member Pat Kelly & Ladies Football founder Breda Kelly (both from Galway) and Eire Og hurler Mike O'Connell (from Waterford but wearing a Tipperary jersey!).

GAA President Liam O'Neill also contributes to the report.
