Brian Cody says "nothing surprises him" about Limerick.

As he prepares to lead his Kilkenny side into All-Ireland semi-final action against the Treaty County at Croke Park this weekend, the Cats boss has been talking up the underdogs:

"Nothing surprises me about them," he says in The Kilkenny People. "I know the potential and quality that is there.

"I'm not surprised at the standard Limerick have been playing at. They're capable of that. We're going to have to be on top of our game.

"That win [against Wexford] saw Limerick give an example of their potential and strength. They were hugely impressive. They're huge opposition; a top team and a tough challenge.

"Their forward play is very good but I think they've been outstanding in midfield. Every aspect of their team is strong but they've played with great spirit and work rate. They have all the ingredients. The challenge is there for us."
