Armagh adopted a siege mentality which served them in good-stead last weekend - but can it sustain them in this Sunday's replay?

More importantly, perhaps, than any perceived sense of injustice is the fact that manager Paul Grimley is able to call on the services of suspended trio Andy Mallon, Brendan Donaghy and Kieran Toner for the replay and he will have some tough decisions to make regarding his starting 15.

The Anglo-Celt Cup holders were knocked back on their heels when the Orchard County produced a stirring late rally which yielded three points and the game finished level on 0-14 apiece.

The play-making of centre-forward Kevin Dyas was central to the challenger's impressive performance and it will be interesting to see if Malachy O'Rourke has any tricks up his sleeve to try to curtail the Armagh number 11's influence this time around.

Last Monday morning's qualifier draw has added further to the intrigue surrounding this fixture as Tyrone are waiting in the wings for the losers on July 12th.

Malachy O'Rourke will have consoled himself these past few days with the fact that his team's display last weekend fell a long way short of the high standards they have set themselves and he will demand a massive improvement throughout the field.

For instance, he will expect a bigger return from his captain Conor McManus who registered just one point from play before picking up a black card.

Even allowing for the return of Mallon, Donaghy and Toner, the Farney are fancied to have the final say.

Verdict - Monaghan.
