It has transpired that Jerome Johnston, Ryan Johnston and Paul Devlin will be available to James McCartan on Sunday after all.

The Kilcoo trio are all currently holidaying abroad and it had been reported earlier this week that they would not be flying home until Monday.

This would have left them unavailable for Sunday's SF Qualifier Round One meeting with Leitrim at Pairc Esler.

Contrary to those reports, however, Down PRO Paul Rooney has confirmed that the three players are due to arrive home on Saturday and will be available to Mourne manager James McCartan - if required - for duty on Sunday afternoon.

Meanwhile, Armagh are expected to take the cases of suspended trio Andy Mallon, Kieran Toner and Brendan Donaghy to the Disputes Resolution Authority in a last-ditch effort to have them cleared for tomorrow's Ulster SFC semi-final against holders Monaghan.

All three had their second appeals (against one-match bans proposed in the aftermath of the pre-match brawl against Cavan) rejected by the Central Appeals Committee on Wednesday night but the Orchard County are ready to take their bid to have the players exonerated all the way.
