Colm McFadden says he is starting to find a little bit of form again.

The deadly Donegal attacker was laid low by illness in the run-up to the quarter-final win over Derry but is getting back to himself with a fourth successive Ulster final appearance looming for Jim McGuinness' men after Sunday's defeat of Antrim.

"I wasn't fit to get out of the house for a lock of days, I was in bad form for a while," the St Michael's clubman told The Irish News.

"Thankfully, over the last couple of weeks the training has gone well and I'm starting to find the fitness now again and getting back to where I want to be.

"It's nice to get back there [to an Ulster final] after last year when we got beat in the final by Monaghan.

"It's nice to get back to try and regain the title, but we know it's going to be a tough game no matter who comes out of next week's semi-final.

"The important thing is that we go into it and try and win it and we know it's going to be tough, so hopefully over the next four weeks we'll get a lot of work done and get ready for Monaghan or Armagh."
