Monaghan will be without Colin Walshe for the Allianz NFL Division 2 final.

The All-Star defender has been left out of the squad for Sunday's clash with Donegal at Croke Park because of injury. Owen Duffy and Gavin Doogan, who suffered a broken foot in a club game two weeks ago, also miss out.

However, there is some good news for Monaghan as midfielder Owen Lennon has overcome a back injury and is selected at midfield alongside Paul Finlay.

The starting fifteen shows eleven survivors from the team that defeated Donegal in last year's Ulster final - Fintan Kelly, Karl O'Connell, Chris McGuinness and Jack McCarron are the four newcomers.

Monaghan (FL Division 2 final v Donegal) - Rory Beggan; Kieran Duffy, Drew Wylie, Fintan Kelly; Dessie Mone, Vinny Corey, Karl O'Connell; Owen Lennon, Paul Finlay; Kieran Hughes, Stephen Gollogly, Chris Mc Guinness; Dermot Malone, Jack McCarron, Conor McManus.

Subs: Gerard Mc Caffrey, Ryan Wylie, Conor Boyle, Conor Galligan, Martin McElroy, Dick Clerkin, Darren Hughes, Paudie McKenna, Padraic Keenan, Shane Carey, Thomas Kerr.
