Paul Barden will make his first start of the year for Longford in today's vital Division 3 meeting with Wexford.

The long-serving Clonguish clubman has recovered from injury to take his place at centre forward for the do-or-die clash, which will see the losers relegated to the basement division with Offaly next year. Barden's inclusion sees Cian Mimnagh drop out of a rejigged attack.

Paddy Columb also takes over in goal from Damien Sheridan, while Barry Gilleran, Colm P Smith and Enda Williams are recalled to the defence.
