Mayo midfielder Aidan O'Shea has outlined the pros and cons of the GAA's Sky TV deal - and complains that players won't see any of the money.

In a series of tweets (@AIDOXI) this morning, O'Shea gave his take on the controversial deal that has dominated the headlines over the past 24 hours.

"SKY deal is very positive from a coverage & promotional point of view. I think it will bring coverage of our Games to a new level.

"Rte will be under pressure to improve I would say. I'd say sky production will leave them In their wake.

"On the negative the reason Sky are interested is for one reason. Keith Higgins Bernard Brogan Colm Copper.... I.e. The players!!

"Who are so called Amateurs....and it's more money to the Gaa Coffers...will this filter to the players. ..I don't think so..." Tweet
