Dubs breathe sigh of relief over Costello

Cormac Costello should be fit to line out for Dublin in this year's Leinster U21 FC final.
The dual star sustained an ankle injury during Wednesday night's provincial semi-final defeat of Longford in Portlaoise and there were genuine fears that he had done serious damage as he fell awkwardly.
Costello had been drafted into the starting XV by manager Dessie Farrell to replace Ciaran Kilkenny, who has been ruled out for the remainder of the year with a cruciate ligament tear. He had clipped over three points for his team before crying off through injury.
But the 20-year-old Whitehall clubman should be able to start against Meath in the provincial final at O'Moore Park on April 2nd.
Costello is also a member of Jim Gavin's senior panel, as are fellow U21s Jack McCaffrey, Paul Mannion, Shane Carthy, Davy Byrne, Eric Lowndes and Emmet O Conghaile.
