Flynn wants revenge
May 20, 2013

Former Waterford great Paul Flynn has been a great addition to the Down hurling backroom team.
Paul Flynn admits Down will be looking for revenge against Meath in next weekend's Christy Ring Cup semi-final.
The Ardsmen lost to Cillian Farrell's men in the Allianz Hurling League earlier this year, and speaking to the Irish News after Saturday's 3-7 to 0-9 victory over Derry at Pairc Esler, the Down coach and former Waterford star said: "We've to think about revenge against Meath. First they beat us at Pairc Esler in the league earlier this year and that's the only game we'll think about now."
Flynn felt Down's ability to get goals was crucial against their Ulster rivals.
"I suppose we got goals at the right time," he continued.
"A goal at any time is great, but to get two within two minutes with 16 or 17 minutes to go and open up a gap was great for us."
