No injury concerns for Counihan
01 June 2012
Cork's Ciaran Sheehan
Cork manager Conor Counihan will have a fully-fit squad to pick from for Sunday week's Munster SFC semi-final against Kerry at Pairc Ui Chaoimh.
Ciaran Sheehan is back in contention for a starting place for the first time since he ruptured his cruciate ligament in last summer's Munster final against the Kingdom, and came through a recent hurling game for his club Eire Og unscathed.
"Everyone's fit at the moment. We had our fingers crossed last weekend, but they're all okay. We just hope now that everything will be alright for training over the next week," Counihan said in The Irish Examiner.
"We've had a bad run of injuries over the last year, but the tide seems to be turning now with Ciaran and Daniel (Goulding) back. Training has been competitive and we've plenty of options now in the forwards."
