Carlow manager Colm Bonnar believes that despite their results in HL1B, they are learning from every game.

Three defeats from three means that Saturday evening’s game against Laois is very much winner takes all in a battle to avoid a relegation play-off.

Bonnar stressed to the Carlow Nationalist that they must take something from every game despite the result as they look back on the defeat to Dublin last Saturday night.

“Unfortunately you cannot relax at the level we are at. Even though we are under the cosh, every game we are at we are better off to be in that position.”

He added: “How many beatings will it take them to lose their interest? I don’t think it will happen, as we are trying to get players to focus on their own personal development and look at themselves as inter-county players.”
