Corofin are through to their 13th Galway SFC semi-final in 14 years after beating Mountbellew-Moylough 1-16 to 1-10 in Tuam Stadium.

Ian Burke's first half goal proved decisive for the back-to-back All-Ireland club champions who took a 1-6 to 0-3 lead into the break. It was the sixth year in-a-row that Corofin have put paid to Mountbellew-Moylough's championship hopes.

The six-in-a-row Frank Fox Cup winners will face Salthill/Knocknacarra for a place in the final after a Gearoid Armstrong point with the last kick of the game handed the Seasiders a 0-13 to 1-9 victory over Claregalway in the first part of the Tuam Stadium quarter-final double-header.

Tuam Stars and Moycullen will contest the other semi-final.
