One game was abandoned and another was postponed due to severe flooding at Netwatch Cullen Park this afternoon.
The IFC semi-final between Kildavin/Clonegal and Naomh Eoin was abandoned at half-time with the former leading by 1-5 to 0-5, while the SFC semi-final between Eire Og and Bagenalstown Gaels didn't go ahead due to an unplayable pitch.
Both games have been re-fixed for next Saturday evening, September 28, at the same venue.
Carlow manager Turlough O'Brien tweeted that the conditions for the abandoned IFC semi-final were among the worst he has ever seen.
Long time since I’ve seen conditions like this in DCP @Carlow_GAA pic.twitter.com/wBZoFyUsSc
